I can honestly say that joining this group had a huge impact on my family. I believe I joined back in 2003 when I first started exploring natural parenting topics and holistic health. I learned so much, and this was because the moms on the list took the time to answer my questions, make recommendations regarding local resources, and even provide real-life support. I’ve met some amazing friends in this group.
The group has gone through some changes in the past couple of years, with the result being that it’s primarily an online support group now. I’ve recently taken over the group because I felt it could still make a difference in the lives of new moms in the area, as it did for me.
We currently have almost 60 families in Orlando Peaceful Parents and may start having real-life events again if there’s interest. In the meantime, the parents on the list are available to answer your questions about cloth diapering, attachment parenting, local midwives, and more.
