Saturday, May 12, from 11 am to 6 pm, Littlepalooza 2007 rocks Central Florida! This fantastic music and performing arts festival for children will feature story-telling with Mr. Richard (of Orlando Downtown Library fame), dance performances by the Orlando Belly Dancing Children’s Troupe, and music from Rusty Cutlass (an enthusiastic pirate band), among other performances. Don’t miss The Forefathers, an awesome world music band, closing the event with an hour-long performance. Dance and music workshops are also scheduled, along with the traditional bounce house and face painting. Last year’s event was a blast, and this year’s looks to be bigger and better!
Tickets are $6/ea; $12/family at the gate. Littlepalooza is held at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando, located on Robinson between Bumby and Mills. Food and drink will be available for purchase, and you should bring folding chairs or a blanket to enjoy the performances. Check out the website for a detailed schedule.
Sounds like fun!
