I recently began working outside the home, so I’m constantly on the lookout for nutritious recipes that can be put together in a matter of minutes. While I’m doing a bit of freezer cooking and “night before” prep, I’ve also purchased some frozen items at Whole Foods to keep around for extra late nights.

I’m writing today to review Whole Kitchen’s Souffle with Emmental Cheese. I was a little skeptical when I read the directions on the back of the package. How could a souffle be so easy? You simply pour the contents of the package into a souffle or casserole dish and bake for 35 minutes. This souffle was surprisingly tasty! It was a hit with the whole family. You can use the half hour to prepare a green salad and set the table. (I actually used the souffle as part of a “breakfast for dinner” type meal that included buckwheat blueberry pancakes.)
I’ve tried several other products from the Whole Kitchen line and have been happy with the prices as well as the ingredients.
It’s important to note that processed foods, even those from Whole Foods, usually contain a lot of sodium and should be used in moderation.
