I’m trying to see if I will make it to this… doesn’t it sound good?
SGA is proud to be hosting “Good Eats for Earth”, on November 16, 2009 at 1:00PM in the Cape Florida Ballroom at University of Central Florida.
This event will be about how to eat healthy and tasty foods while reducing your carbon footprint. Some of Orlando’s best earth friendly foods will be showcased and local speakers, including a registered dietarian, will be present. “Good Eats for Earth” will be an enjoyable and educational event, which will display why eating sustainable food, is so important.
Tracy Wilk, SGA’s Environmental & Sustainability Specialist has always been exceptionally passionate about issues that relate to the environment. “Not only does Earth-friendly food taste great,” Wilk said. “It will help heal the world too!”
SGA will be joined by the Student Sustainability Alliance, and BARC (the Body of Animal Rights Campaigners) in organizing this event. Free food and LinkLoot will be available for students who attend, and this event will also qualify as an impact event for LEAD Scholars.
