At Misty Forest, we are especially thrilled to be able to provide a space for children to create meaningful relationships and experience unique classes that focus on self esteem and being green.

ABOUT THE AUCTION

In efforts to help sustain our afterschool program and support the roots of the forest in the midst of challenging economic times, we are asking our families, friends and community to please consider donating an item or service to help keep Misty Forest alive and well through this year. Thanks to the efforts of a few of our awesome parents, Misty Forest will be launching a cool online silent auction through Ebay. This means that you will be able to find great items, services and fabulous deals while supporting local businesses and community members from the comfort of your home! Just in time for the holidays, too!

Items and services donated will be listed on Misty Forest’s website, newsletter, posted in high visibility at all three of our Downtown locations (Theater/Casting/Art Venue, “The Cameo”, Thornton Ave. “Wellness Center” and Hyer Ave. “Enrichment and Education Center”. In addition, your business/name will be included in Misty Forest’s fullpage ad on the inside cover of the Spring, 2010 edition of Playground Magazine! This is a fabulous opportunity to give your business or practice incredible advertising, marketing and networking exposure….or just even to simply feel good about helping out the Misty afterschool and homeschool kids!

To participate, please email a description of service/item and estimated value to info@mistyforest.org, or drop item/gift certificate at our Hyer Ave. location between hours of 3:00-6:00pm weekdays. (Alternative times are available if needed.)
